Hady was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1984. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department – Alexandria University in 2005 and holds a Master’s Degree (2011) as well as a Ph.D. in Fine Arts (2015) from Alexandria University. He has worked as a Jury member in several art competitions and a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts. He also curated several art activities as well as workshops.
Hady has held several solo exhibitions including his latest: a Virtual Group Exhibition at Caravan foundation (USA, 2020) among others at Heaven’s Backyard (Cairo, 2020), Art Talks Egypt (Cairo, 2018, 2016 & 2014), Abu Dhabi Art Hub (UAE, 2013), El-Horya Centre for Creative Arts (Alexandria, 2012) and the Faculty of Fine Arts (Alexandria, 2011).
He also participated in over 120 group exhibitions and workshops both locally and internationally some of which were held at Falls Church Art Gallery (USA, 2019), Embassy of Egypt (Canada, 2019), Dar El Anda Gallery (Jordan, 2019), Egyptian Academy (Italy, 2018), Darb 1718 (Cairo, 2018), CAP (Kuwait, 2018) among many more in Belgium, London, Dubai, France, Lebanon, Greece and Switzerland.
Throughout his years as an artist, Hady was given the Creativity Prize from the Egyptian Academy in Rome (2021), 1st Place Award from Caravan Foundation in the USA (2021-2020) and over 15 other awards, certificates of appreciation and medals from different local and international institutions. Collectibles of his can be found at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, Bibliotheca Alexandrina as well as the private collections of individuals in Egypt, Italy, France, Canada, Poland, UK and UAE.
